It’s been over a hundred years since a group of local businessmen and early film, vaudeville, and stage actors gathered to organize and finance the founding of the Point Independence Yacht Club in the coastal village of Onset, Massachusetts.

Just beyond Onset Bay Marina, you can see our attractive, two-story clubhouse, topped by a pyramidal roof. It sits at the head of a long pier with two sets of docks fanning out on either side.

The club is surrounded by a quiet residential community with quick access to the historic onset village which features local eateries, a market, and a selection of gift, antique and clothing shops.

Our clubhouse features a great bar with a second story deck overlooking breathtaking views of onset harbor and our private sandy beach.
